Artistic Director - Lowell Liebermann is one of America’s most frequently performed and commissioned composers. Called by the New York Times“as much of a traditionalist as an innovator,” his music is known for its technical command and audience appeal. He has written over 130 works in all genres and has received commissions by a wide array of ensembles and instrumentalists, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Emerson Quartet and London’s Royal Ballet.The head of the Mannes School of Music Composition Department, he also maintains an active performing schedule as pianist and conductor.
